Introducing a faster, more efficient Flow. Plus smarter link handling and profile previews.
- 🔥 Dramatic speed improvements. Our newest version of Flow is faster than ever. Whether you’re adding a comment or creating a new task, you’ll notice that you no longer have to wait for something to save. Which means these are now up to 200% faster. We know that each second saved adds up to more time to get your work done. That’s why we’re working hard to make Flow faster every single day.
- 🔗 Smarter task and project link handling. We know how frustrating it can be to try to open a task link in the desktop app only to have it route you to the web app. So we’ve overhauled the way we handle task and project links. The next time you try to open a task or project link, you’ll be asked if you’d like to open it in the desktop or web app. You can even save your selection, so links open in your preferred app every single time. - 👁 Profile previews. We’ve made it much easier to see someone’s local time, current status, view their profile and tasks, assign them a new task, and even jump to your direct messages with them in Flow Chat. It’s just one way we’re making it easier to work together as a team — whether you’re in the same room or across the globe.
- 🐛 Bug fixes. We also fixed a few small bugs – including improving how Flow looks on Windows computers. We’re always working hard to make sure Flow works, looks, and feels great across platforms. If you ever see something that could be improved, please share it with us.
- 🛠 Simplified billing. We’re nearly done with a massive upgrade to our billing system. When this work is completed in early August, we’ll be moving to a new pricing model. You’ll no longer be asked to add or remove users in buckets of 5 seats. Instead, you’ll be able to add or remove users individually — whenever you want, just by inviting or removing them from your organization. We're excited to make it easier than ever to know and control exactly how much you pay for Flow.
